Field Service Technician

We are looking to add a bilingual (French & English) Field Service Technician to our existing team.  In this role, you will provide technical support to customers and other internal departments via telephone, email and/or site visits in order to solve issues.

The Responsibilities …

Provide solutions for problems with electrical electronic controls;

Assist with R&D prototyping, testing and data collection;

Act as technical liaison with electrical and other suppliers as required;

Maintain product service manuals and warranty documentation;

Make site visits to perform or oversee the required work in all aspects of installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs;

Assist with the design, build, maintenance and set-up of trade show working displays and may attend same;

Resolve warranty issues following established warranty policy and process; and

Actively participate in the NCR (non-conformance report) process for any cases where Field Services needs to investigate or develop corrective/preventative actions.

About You …

Exceptional mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities;

Knowledge of relay logic, PLCs and Frequency Inverters;

Strong interpersonal and communication skills;

Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines;

Able to travel and work overtime if required; and

Bilingual, French Canadian – conversational fluency required.

Your Education …

Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technician Diploma or similar

Your Experience …

Previous experience in sales and/or customer service

Previous experience troubleshooting control circuitry and mechanical systems

Other Details …

Salary – to commensurate with experience

Benefits – active after probationary period
